Conflict & Negotiation Management (November)

Knowing how to manage conflict and craft an agile strategy can translate into an ability to effectively deal with potential external or internal pressures and build relationships, emphasize the pursuit of common goals to achieve, and motivate others to pursue them as well.

Our team has attended the training "Conflict & Negotiation Management" by Al Qadir Learning and Development Centre.

19th Vision HK Workshop (15th November 2022)

"It’s not what the vision is, it’s what the vision does... "

19th Vision BHAG Hoshin Kanri Workshop being held on 15th November 2022. It really helps to connect the teams, where we support a shared sense of purpose and direction for the collaborative team working and performance at the organization – while practicing our core values. Leadership strategies, our designed systems/processes, and an engaged team are dedicated to making our vision a reality and keeping everyone on the same page.

Activities during the workshop encouraged us to learn and brainstorm many concepts and approaches to bring wisdom, and every discussion was opening new doors and ways of thinking toward achieving excellence.

This clear understanding and conviction inspire the power and energy to frame the company's vision in this manner to make it an integral part of the day-to-day experience. At Softwood, everyone from the employees to the CEO strives to develop and implement best management practices to pursue to enhance the national status and well-being of individuals.

Development of Advanced HR Strategies (November-2022)

Advanced HR strategy is a roadmap for solving an organization’s biggest challenges with people-centric solutions, HR Softwood is in collaboration with GIZ and IBF to learn new tools, techniques, and models to work on.

This learning will help to improve our existing systems of recruitment, talent management, compensation, succession planning, and culture to implement HR business integration frameworks to advocate the best people practices with the alignment of our company’s philosophy. We have participated in the training workshop conducted by GIZ&IBF at Stylers International.

5S Training (November-2022)

The Toyota style is not to create results by working hard. It is a system that says there is no limit to people’s creativity. People don’t go to Toyota to ‘work’ they go there to ‘think’... Indeed, TPS is a combination of attitudes and specific techniques, which can be adopted. Softwood has conducted a series of 5S sessions for the team on the floor to reassess and refresh the methodology to maintain an orderly workplace to attain more consistent operational results.

OSH Training (October-2022)

⚠️ Workplace accidents, injuries, and exposure to harmful substances are commonplace in Pakistan. Employees need better protection! Together with the Labour & Human Resource Department, we worked towards a safer working environment in the textile & garment industry with its biggest representation in the Punjab province.

Softwood team has attended the training of an exclusive curriculum on occupational safety & health to better protect our employees, and to get the best practices implemented in our factory.


Business Negotiation and Conflict Management Skills

(October 2022)

Whether you're aware of it or not, you're negotiating all the time.

Negotiation is a thoughtful approach which requires multiple skills like creative thinking and conflict management to reach mutually beneficial decisions on daily basis. These skills can be learned by professional training programs.

Softwood believes in investing in his employees and encourages them to learn these essential skills which empower their roles and take impactful decisions. Our 10 team members have attended the session at LCCI.

At Softwood, we always strive to improve while following our vision, we enjoy learning new techniques to implement in our professional lives; by conducting in-house training sessions; Reading Faster in 10 days, Microsoft Excel, Emotional Intelligence, Time Management, Costing Class, Foreign Languages, working on our Mathematical skill and many more... These learnings allow us to utilize brain power much more effectively to increase our brain’s potential. It leads us to think faster and right to make decisions quickly, react immediately when something unexpected happens, and become more energetic, skillful, and confident.
